IIM Bangalore’s International business summit Vista 2020, in association with ICON, the Consulting Club of IIMB, presents Trojan Horse. This event gives you the chance to slip into the shoes of a head honcho and make decisions that could spell unmatched success, financial ruin, and everything-else-in-between, for your business. It’s a multi-stage event that will test your ability to generate valuable insights and stick to your guns in the face of intense competitive pressures. Trojan Horse brings together the smartest minds in the country and have them battle it out for the coveted title of being the Best Business Strategists, by providing solutions to contemporary business cases.

Round 1 (Pre-Vista Prelims)
This round is an MCQ quiz to check how quickly you are on your feet. Strategy, Marketing, Operations, HR, Finance, Social Science no field will go untested! Speed and number of correct answers will be the criteria for elimination. The quiz link will be shared with all registered participants before the stipulated date and time.

Round 2 (Case Solutions)
Shortlisted teams will be sent a case to which they will be required to send their max./up to 10 slide solution. Time to put those MECE skills to good use! Further details, criteria for evaluation, and the time limit for the same will be made known in due course. Top 10 teams will make it to round 3.

Round 3 (Presentation)
The final round will be an online case presentation as the teams battle it out to showcase the brilliance of their solutions to an elite panel of judges. The presentation will be for 10 minutes followed by a 5-minute Q&A session. “Brevity is the soul of good presentation ;)”

  1. The registrations will close by 11:59:59, 16th October
  2. Round 2 case will be accessible to the teams that qualify round 1.
  3. Teams must comprise exactly 3 members, all of whom must be enrolled in a graduate or a post-graduate program at the time of the prospectus submission.
  4. All participants must belong to the same institute.
  5. An institute can have any number of teams participating. However, if a team member is found participating as a part of more than one team, all such teams shall be disqualified.
  6. Send the PPT named as <TeamName>_<CollegeName> via D2C.
  7. Only the first submissions made by teams before the deadlines will be used.
  8. All rounds will be conducted online.
