The Art of Effective Communication

“If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart” – Nelson Mandela

Your success as a business manager, entrepreneur or public figure may well be determined by the way you speak and present yourself to stakeholders. Effective communication is an art, when mastered, can multiply your potency as an influencer. It is the bridge that can enable you to land that dream offer at a large corporate, trump your colleagues in university/ office presentations or swing public opinion in your favor. What is the difference between a fluent speaker and an effective communicator? Is it all about the spoken word? What goes into the making of an ‘I have a dream…’ or a ‘Gettysburg Address’? This workshop shall seek to address some of these questions, with a focus on the following:

(a) Confidence Building

(b) Body Language

(c) Speech Impact

(d) Speech Writing
